Hi.
I have had limited luck with my clutch setups for my 1100 turbo with 2.5" DV outlet and exhaust, Hi-Jacker2.0, intercooler fan and vented all over, set at about 230 HP
Have tried the Daltons 5Ws weights, different primary springs and a 38/46 progressive helix.
Now I am running 96 grms MDS weights in the primary with a cat gold spring, and a stock secondary except for hi-torque rollers. Kinda works, but have to reduce boost on my Hi-Jacker to stay off rev limiter. Also, the rpms fluctuates alot more then my piped/head modded M1000 did.(7400-8000, the M1000 stayed at 7500-7600) Would like it to hold a steady 7800-7900.
I am concerned that the cat gold spring might not be stiff enough to control the heavy weights, but steve at MDS recommends this setup.
A torsion setup and floating the secondary are options I am looking into right now. I have heard that they might limit some of the excessive clutch heat but I have not been convinced on either yet.
Thanks for looking.
