2 year warranty worth $760?

It's not a Polaris warranty and appears to be good.

I bought a 13 with 66 miles, has a 2nd year warranty that will expire Dec 2014. I average about 400 miles give or take a season. So if I buy the additional 2 years will have about 1200 - 1500 miles on the sled when the 2 year expires.

I'm thinking of not buying the 2 year and checking the pistons at the end of every season; and using that money toward a piston kit if needed.

So what do you all think?

I debated but ended up getting 2 extra years so 3 total for lkke 700.

But that's just me.

I"ll go out on a limb here and guess it is a 800 Pro Rmk. The reason I asked is because we have one with around 1500+ miles and have had no problems. We also Snowchecked a 2014 800 Pro RMK with the two year warranty. Hopefully the previous owner started the proper break in for you. If that were the case I wouldn't buy into it. $.02:face-icon-small-hap
What is the deductible? $50? And read the warranty disclosure. There will be exemptions in there.

plus....some of the after market warranties....they look for ANY deviation from stock to deny a claim....although i frequently buy extended warranties for my auto/trucks, i don't think i would buy one for the 800 rmk....especially given that you aren't racking up a bunch of miles on the sled..:face-icon-small-coo

I when with out the extended warranty. figured for the prices polaris wants for warranties I'd just set that make aside, and if I have problems, I'll just fix it how I want. Polaris just puts the same crap back in when they "rebuild".

Obviously it's insurance. It's a gamble. But it's also attractive to potential buyers when you decide to sell. It's much harder to sell a sled without a warranty.

Cornerstone Warranty

If your dealer carries the Cornerstone warranty product, check into that. Should be able to get an additional 3 years for under $650 with 0 deductible.

I didnt do it. I picked up early and got till december 2015.

If she blows shes getting fixed and sold or if i keep her putting rk tek kit on it before warrentys off.

Warrenty is great but sled sitting in the shop for a month getting a new motor sucks.
