chose the low rider, so I didn't have a front loading door to leak, low access to drive on/off with the 24" hidden beaver tail in the trailer. mine is 7x16. they will make a 7x18 low rider if you ask. they just cant put a drive on front ramp door, due to only having a 3' v front. they want the trailer to have a 5' v front, for the ramp door. I do not know what the FT designation is, deluxe is just that, (better equipped). explorer is bare bones, until you add your own options. Ski
