The trailer was a plain jane white with no sticker or logos on it.The Summit was new no mods.
The 900 RMK had a custom hood paint job.

I'll keep my eyes open here in the Ogden area. Fking loosers need to be hang by their balls. I'll pull the trigger SH!!

If nothing turns up I have insurance except on the 900 and I'll be screwed on that. I didn't think I was going to crash it and didn't have insurance on it. Didn't really think about getting ripped off!!

If I find the guy I have a few things I would like to try out from a few spy novels I have read.
1. Pulling fingernails out with pliers.
2. Pop an eye out of the socket with a spoon.

Don't bother with that, come get me and we will rope 'em and tie them to the a@@ end of the trailer and take em snowmobiling with us. (whatever is left of them) I FREAKING HATE THIEVES. Why not get a job, do something during the day and earn the right to go out on the weekend and play instead of being a low life scum sucking pile of pig sh!T that takes away from productive members of society.

Jeff that really blows, we'll keep an eye out on the south end of the valley hoping for the best

I will keep my eyes open. I travel from Clinton to midvale every day for work.
Sorry this happened. I HATE freeking thieves. We should do like they did in old days and tie a sled to each limb and then all four sleds go wide open until they hear the pop and the scream.:face-icon-small-con

got the VIN's?

Post them if you do.

Jeff,

This just sucks...

If you have to make claim on the Hill Climb remember to include the clutch arms.. When my sleds burned last year I was able to claim the seat and other mods.. The dealer put cost of parts and install on the estimate.

Rich

Thanks Chief. I will get a new clutch tool ordered Monday, it was still in the trailer when they nabbed it. You bought that from SLP?

VIN:
Trailer 4P2WB202X7U078938
Ski-Doo 2BPSCF9A69V000108
Polaris SN1PN8DS95C536670

Yea, SLP part number 20-143 for Ski-Doo TRA drive and RER driven Clutch.

Hope you recover it all.

I've taken to using a hitch lock and am thinking about a lock that goes between and around the tandam wheels so it can't be moved without cutting that off as well. Maybe make them go steal someone elses rig instead of mine.

I am sorry to hear that another sledder has lost his toys. There has been a lot of that this year. I worry about mine every night. You just never know what kind of lowlife scum bag sh!t F**k is out there lurking.

I think there is still an old law on the utah books where you can hang horse thiefs. Now I think we can compare a snowmobile to a horse...

Jeff....sorry to hear! POS scum bags! I'd start checking ksl.com and see if there is something similar in Vegas!

Good idea.

I've had a couple of days to think and get over the initial reaction and a couple of things have had time to really sink in.
1. I am going to be out approximately $4,000 to $5,000 because i didn't have theft insurance on the 900 RMK.
2. I had a bunch of stuff in the trailer for a trip to Colorado to visit my mom and do some riding. Klim bibs, boot and coat. Garmin GPS. 25 gallons of Sunoco 110. Avalanche beacon. Helmet and goggles. 3 gallons Blue Marble oil.

I got to stop, this is just pissin me off.

Jeff....check and see if the goods will be covered with your trailer?? Also, if it was parked at your house, your homeowner's insurance may help out??? this stuff makes me furious! If I ever caught some SOB messing with my stuff I'd be shooting first.....then I'd throw their carcass out of my trailer and go sledding!

BTW...as you can see, I've got some stuff for sale!!!

Darn deductables .....

I just returned from my insurance agent. The contents of the trailer will be covered under my home owners policy.

So I have a $500 deductable on the the trailer.
A $500 deductable on the sled.
A $1000 deductable on the homeowners.
No insurance on the 900.

On the bright side I did my taxes and the goverment is going to return $368 of my money to me.

I lost that much in deductibles when the sleds burned.. luckly they gave me more for the sleds then I could have sold them for.. I hope the same happens for you..

And don't forget that on next years taxes this is a LOSS.. and is a deduction!!
