2 more wolf attacks

SOOOO-- If I were to get a trapping permit and such, the legal way, if a wolf or 2, or 10, happened to die in them, how does the law look at that?
Sounds like this might be a viable option to me to set up a trap line around the property.

BTW-- Thanks Wade for the legal details, always nice to see how things are put on paper.

Buddy just called and told me to come out and help protect his animals with the new VTR .223 this summer! Every ride this winter we saw wolf tracks and kills, all in different areas, all kills were maybe missing a limb, not hardly nibbled on! East coast legislation running the west, they don't have the first clue to our issues!

This is rediculous!! I'm getting my concealed carry permit next weekend and by damned you better believe that when I see one of those ***gers while camoing or what not they will be getting mowed down with out the blink of an eye. Might have to take out the neighbors dog too the ***gin thing is just a pug and already very hostile towards people and the white trash people dont even try to stop it with my first born on the way i;m a little worried about him playin in the yard with stuff like this around.

Read the laws VERY closely. You can't just point and shoot in Id an Mt like you can in Wy. First wolves shot around here a couple weeks ago 6 of them came into the man's yard with his 2 yr old out playing. Heck they even pizzed on the kids snow sled. But the line is soo fine that he is now going to have charges pressed, due to other details that I won't leak until the investigation is complete.

What's it going to take? A child being taken down? Before the state finally realizes there is a problem here. F&G told us the more sightings, colors, #'s, and such that are reported, the more tags that will be issued when they do it. As they addmitt they don't know how many or where they are even at. So do your part and keep EVERYONE informed.

bait n snare them....doit while you got snow easy to track ...that is if have snow...bad wolves that get used to eating out will get even worse

I always liked a large treble hook with a chunk of meat on it, attached to wire in a tree.

Wolf see's suspended meat, jumps up, grabs, hook sets in mouth....

I am sure you get the picture.

I watched a tree hugger enviro wacko documetary on wolves the other day. Talk about a load of crap. They try to make these animals out to be such nobel animals. They are brutal killers & not vey good at it either. Then the guy had the balls to say there has NEVER been a documented attack on a human...SSS all the way.

They don't like using facts, just throw out a statement and hope that people will buy it. Here's just one document describing wolf attacks:http://www.wildlife.alaska.gov/pubs/techpubs/research_pdfs/techb13_full.pdf

The Game Management Unit (GMU) that I hunt allows the taking of up to 10 wolves per day by hunting and has a trapping season as well. I wouldn't want to see all wolves gone but their numbers need to be kept in check.

Gus

Not tree hugger just wondering if that was legal??
If not I would get that off of here before someone pops their cork on you!
flat out SSS, just like this one that was stalking my sis'inlaw's dog in AK.:)
