2 Days With Burandt - My Review

$667 day?

YOu guys are retarded.

I will stick to riding the backcountry here in Alaska

I tend to agree AK.

Why is the guide cost $300 per person? If one of the benefits of this service is getting instruction and tips from Burandt, the amount of personal instruction time is quite different if you go with one other person or five others. i would negotiate a flat group fee.

The rental and lodging is what it is, but the guide cost seems excessive to me since it is per person.

Actually the $300 guide fee is to pay Chris not to laugh at you while he is digging your sled out after you stick it for 9th time while you are trying to keep up with him.

Once you go, you will know. Best money spent on learning how to ride at an advanced level. Chris takes all questions and shows you the answer.
Check out the price of a full day private ski lesson - over $450 for 6 hours at the resort I live near - and I bet you are not learning from Bode Miller.

I was hesitiant about the money at first, but now I wish people would stop talking about his operation. There will be no spots left for next season. Still, it is not an everyday thing but for those who went this season, I think they would say great time and value.

Actually the day riding with Chris was the cheap part. Since then, I have managed spend close to $15k on an 2008 M1000 with mods and I just ordered an 09. I rode the bigs cats and saw the light.
