2 Cycle Oil----Injector vs Regular (Mix type)

Just wondering if anyone could tell me if 2 cycle injector oil and the 2 cycle mix oil are compatible. I have a gallon of older injector oil and was wondering would it be ok to use it as a mix type oil for other 2 cycle motors such as a chain saw or ice auger?

I do. I just mix it to whatever ratio called for and have had no problems with anything I have done it with. 10 HP outboard, leaf blower, weed wacker, chainsaw and snowblower
