2.6" AC Powerclaw on Pro?

Sure, I have a PC on my 155 pro. Takes drivers and track from what I have read, mine had it when I bought it.

So is the PC 2.6" a good track and is it the next best to a 3"... What r your thoughts? Lets hear the good bad and ugly!!

I really don't know for sure, I have only ridden in prairie snow conditions so far. Heading to the mountains tomorrow, although I have never ridden with stock track for comparison.

Q.. Can u put a AC 2.6" x 163" on a 2013 Pro 163??

A: Yes,

The PC 2.6" requires 7 tooth, 3" pitch, Avid "power claw" drivers, trimmed rails and a good idea to install an anti stab kit.

Or 8 tooth, 3" pitch, Avid "power claw" drivers and a drop and roll.

Carls did make 8 tooth involute drivers (non extro) for the 2.25" PC install but does not make (and not a good idea) to make 7 tooth involutes.

Just not enough clearance in the tunnel for this track to run properly with 8 tooth drivers.

I have an 11 assault rmk and i found a cheap 2.6 that I wanna put on so does this require me to get avid 7 tooth powerclaw drivers, and anti stab or do I need to also need to get new rails(or trim) and do a chaincase mod?

By chain case mod you mean a whole new chain case that is lower and back alittle bit for clearance right?

No they cut a little section out of it that bubbles out and weld a fill piece in. cheaper than a avid Drop and roll chain case.

Ah sweet thanks! How about the rails how and where do u trim them?

You need to take the tips off the rails and mount a anti stab kit, then basically round the front of the rails so the track rolls off the anti stab wheels and doesnt catch the rail or slide.

You need to take off enough so the rails dont hit the drivers but not too much.

Ok thanks I'll have to figure that out once the time comes have you put a powerclaw on a pro before or do you just know this?
