pm wildchild, i think his post will make it around the efi. I have one on a 990 with cpc 48 mm carbs and it clears with the stock air box.

Wildchild(Kurt) will build a custom post to your spec. Great to deal with and he's in Lumby BC. I've got lots of his stuff, highly recommend his products.

I have a CARB bend post on my 02 EFI and the bend hits the throttle bodies on full left turns. I just got a Wildchild for my King and the bend is clocked down from parallel with the top (unlike the carb bend which is straight on with the top) and it does not hit the throttle bodies. So to answer your question, they are different.
