1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ died.

So my jeep blew. I'm parting it out and thought I'd just see if any of the Colorado Crew that Jeeped needed anything?

Stock wheels and brand new tires. Body is in decent shape. Motor still starts but runs really bad. New motor costs more than the thin books for.

Yes. $700 of brand new rubber and nothing to turn them.

Long block it for a couple grand and run it for another 50k or so. Cheaper to fix jeeps than to buy new ones.

Not really worth it then. I drove it to save money on gas. Not gonna buy a new one.

Think it was a crazy deal. I cannot find anything with decent compression or mileage for less than 1500. Then I gotta make sure that the ECU will match up and crap like that.

the ecu thing doesnt make a difference just swap your stuff out and your good to go. 1500 sounds pretty high. you look around the denver area for a used one?? i'll pick it up and bring it to ya if you find a deal.

I did. I did an entire search of all salvage yards in the network. The pull and pays won't tell me and I can't afford to take the time to drive around and look.
