180hp mcx turbo gearing??

is anyone gearing the 2010 nytro w/ 162 track down? it appears to be geared a bit high. Any thoughts

I geared up a bit actually , i went with 20-40 . With the turbo, 18-40 would have been to low in my opinion. The 2010's and 2011's will have the same factory gearing.

i ran factory gear on mine and i will say from what i read, i didnt see the track speeds other guys had..I think the gearing kept me from having a good shift back and rpm's stayed low with not the desired track speed. I had the clutch set like the rest so i had intended on changing the gear this year fer sure,,but installed the 240 upgrade so back square one again i guess..

Us three MCX180 guys all went with a 19T on top, works great! Sherm

I run a 19 T too. I noticed much better belt life then the 20T.
