Went riding today and my air box boots kept popping off the throttle body’s and then noticed there’s metal rings around my throttle body’s is that the correct spot for them or do they go in between the throttle body and airbox to prevent the hose from collapsing !?

If I remember correctly those rings go on the outside of the throttle body and the rubber hose slides over them.

So that’s what i thought but when i go to clamp it ! They won’t sit correctly and it’s almost worse

The rings might not be staying in the grooves when you slide the rubber over them.
