Hey Dude, thanks for the kudos, but it was all your concepts and ideas, I just did some welding and helping out. The results are obvious though, a very "rightous ride" for sure. My compliments to you for your attention to detail and for being the "perfectionist" that you are, to think that you got the sled back together on the 26th, then you rode it everyday from the 27th through to the 4th of January, (in the deep Revy Powder), without putting a wrench to it, not even a track alignment/tension adjustment....., I saw you checking everything, but not one loose bolt, no chaffing wires or hoses, no leaks, ...NO PROBLEMS what-so-ever. That is an accomplishment, and just think, "you" built it, you know every little piece of this sled intimately. A great MOD build job!!! Looks great as well.
As you stated at the beginning when you thanked all who helped with parts and services, I would have to agree with your comments..
- the CR tunnel is wicked, every hole lined up just like it was factory. The cooler is great as well.
- the Seat is cool, nice fit, great to have a warm compartment..
- I can't say enough good in regards to the "Racers Edge" rear torque arm, this is the best rear suspension I have seen for these 174 tracks, with quality workmanship, superior performance and unlimited adjustability, not to mention great "tech support" on the hill, kudos to Darryl and Lance. The ice age rails are cool and very worthwhile as well. Nice bling on the wheels. Great rear skid combination.
- and how about RS...??, a definate top knotch guy...., very knowledgable and always willing to help out, an ambassador for the Sport!!
One can not say enough good about the support from "all" of your friends in this sport, and the town of Revy.
This sled was wicked to watch over the Holiday season, great climb up the Sugar Bowl in 5' of powder.
Enjoy your new ride Dude.
PS, Hey Scott how are you doing? We missed you and OJ over the Holidays, we'll see you soon I'm sure, as for the "allowing a Yammie into my shop"...lol. I am sure that OJ would remeber my racing days, I used to be all Yammie back then, switched from Bombers in 76 after watching the SRX's in the 75/76 season, those SRX's were cool and brought me a lot of trophies over several years. (When I get back to being able to ride more again, I can see a Boosted Yammie in my future).
PS2, It was a pleasure to ride with everyone over the Holidays, family and friends, what a great sport....!!!!
PS3, I shall have to check my Photo archeives, as I may have some "leg" shots of this young man over the years..
Cheers to all.
Ron
