174 3" PRO 800 AVID DROP & ROLL

that truly IS awesome...I take it a turbo is not too far away in the plan of things.

What skis are those can I ask? Do skis make a big difference (aside from the obvious answer that they suire do if you dont have them)?

Nice..

Nice, I put an Avid chain case and drivers also. Couple of questions. Where did you get the wheels you put on the front of your rails? Did you drop the front hole of your suspension for track clearance or was there a reason you wanted to keep the stock approach angle?

What front suspension did you use? That's a cool sled, long but cool. Funny that you have all those sweet components on the sled but have the stock can!

Give Curt a call at FTX. He did most of the R&D and fitting for Robbie over the summer, set the approach angle and so on. The shop turbo had the prototype on it when he sold it.

Thats who I talked to and ordered my things from. Known him since his days in Ak. I was not saying anything was wrong, I was only curious as why. I'll get a hold of Curt now that my inquiring mind needs to know!

Yes and yes if you drop the driveshaft you must drop the front arm or it will rub on the track full time. As it sits now there is about 1/4" space between the track and the rub point in the front arm.I can still suck the limiter if need be. And it will be getting a BD turbo kit soon thats why the stock can is still on. You can buy the antistab wheels from ICEAGE or anywere.

I have also installed the Avid drop and roll chaincase on the Pro. Very nice fit and finish.

Looks great! Got to ask you though, how much fun did you have cutting an inch off that track, honestly?

I put the Avid chaincase and the 3" on my vert. escape. best improvement ever! You'll love that track!

Huh? What did I miss??

Chrisco: How do you like them Ohlins? And how did the handling of the sled change when you moved the driveshaft and suspension?

Nice and clean build!!

The 174 x 3 only comes 16" wide. There is no way you can stuff that track into the tunnell w/o cutting an inch off the track...
