Just turned 1700+ km on my xp and love it It has also been a very interesting learning curve. When I think I know this sled it always comes back to surprise me. I finally got the clutching near perfect as I'm going to get without touching the secondary. My latest combo is a blue/yellow primary spring, 414 ramps and an additional 12mm of set screw weight above the factory 12mm. This is by far the best it's been. I can ride trails or climb steep mountains and the machine feels way better. The engine finally gets loaded up at lower speed to lower the rpms and reduce the vibrations. In addition I can climb near straight up and it will hold near 8200 rpm. I only click up or down for the day and conditions and don't need to keep doing it for coming on and off the trail. It pulls very hard with this soft spring and the extra weights. I have the 20 tooth gear and the 377 belt which is great and now has about 600 kms on it with no sign of wear. My clutches are always cool enough to put my bare hands on and I only have a tiny shock position vent. Moving the motor inward did help the clutch cooling thing as it ate about 5 belts before this. 166's, Dayco and Gates. I have the front skid shock re-mounted 1 inch forward on the lower end in the rails, limiter strap out all the way, ski shocks set to 1 and rear springs set to 2. This works great for me and reduces the effort to roll this sled up. I still think the front shocks are dampened way too much and I wish I was confident enough to take them apart and re-calibrate. Now I get back to the surprise thing. this weekend as I was scrolling around the display on the guage, a new screen came up that I have never seen before. I guess it's exhaust temperature? I don't have the optional memory module available for this machine so, what the heck? I can get the thing to flash but cannot reset it. It's also still there stuck on 1215 Celcius even the next day.

Can anybody tell me how to reset this or if anybody else has seen this?

Did I say, "I love this sled"?

Mine just staryed showing up the other day. I have a clock, egt, lap times, and a compass, I think.

I was going to go to the dealer and see if I could get some literature on these gauges. I think mine has the modual upgrade but I dont know how to operate the extra functions.

PS= my egt says the same thing as yours.

gauge

hey buddy
my gauge is dooing the same thing, i posted to you on dootalk, i think from what i found out is its a option in the gauge that is not available yet. they default to that, i have a new gauge on order for mine would be nice to the the egt and not have to put them on after. i saw some one post they got the air temp showing up as well but its not funtioning. a couple of good features. are you keeping the 154 for another year?? thanks for the advice on the changes
giddyup

I have an everest and the guages do wierd sheit. The odometer resets itself to zero miles all the time, goes from miles to kilometes and I get a engine coolant temp guage where the fuel guage is supposed to be. Best thing is, sometimes I can get the engine temp guage to switch back to the fuel guage by hitting the high beam switch. This thing is ***ged up.

I will keep it, I don't want to spend another season setting up a new one.

I have heard they had a button problem and that causes the reset. The magnets are coming loose from the back side of the button. It is a warranty item.

Dealer said a new program flash is coming from BRP for these gauges. So, hurry up and wait!
