166 skid and track on newer Dragons chassie?

Will a 166 skid and track off a 05 900 bolt up to a 08 Dragon 163? Thanks in advance.

Yes, but you have to change your drivers from 2.86 to 2.52.

I was going to do this on my D8, but I found a 163" setup for a good price.

I still wish I had a 166" or 174" though

I take it that the drive shaft and drivers for the 05 will not swap over?

The drive shafts don't swap, you'll have to swap the drivers.

There is enough room on the tunnel extension.

I would just use a little set of rail extensions instead of swapping the whole suspension.

But if you have the suspension it will bolt in.

I think an 06 drive shaft may swap in but not an 05 one.

I just put a 166" skid out of an 05 in my 2010 dragon 800. It fit perfectly but the 166" track is a 2.52 pitch. That 166" does dominate in the deep pow.
