162X16 on a Viper what do you think any Suggestions??

I bought a set of factory apex rails and I am mounting them up on my 05 viper mountain, from what I can tell the suspensions are very close except for the lenght. I wanted to put a 16 wide track under it but the mounting brackets are in the way so I am looking for some factory apex ones to mount up on there
what do you think am I crazy going this long on a viper or will this work also about the tunnel extension what should I do buy one or would it be hard to extend the one that i have. Right now there are plastic covers over the hoses, do they sell longer ones or what should I do there
any suggestions would be appreciated
thanks

16" will fit, but it's tight. Hartman drop brackets will work. You will need to grind down some rivet heads and bolt heads to make room. I put a 151"x16" under my Mtn. Max and it made a big difference. Worth the hassle IMO.

if i was u i would threw it in the junck yard and it get a new sled ha ha just bull ?hiting a dude

162 x 16 x ...
* 2 1/2, 2 1/4 or 2 tall?
* 2.52 or 3 pitch?
Those aren't really trick questions but I just can't remember what different configurations the 16 wide comes in. Give me a little more info and I can tell you more. They're nice sleds and for a 700 it can hold its own if set up right.

Mine has 151 finger track under it and certanly has no problem turning it, I wouldn't hesitate putting the 162 x 16 under it. Mountain Performance should have the plastic hose covers in the length you want as well as tunnel extension kits with linger hoses and all.

for an extension, get one from hartman inc. Thats what i did on my viper it has holes so you don't have to extend the cooling line, it just stays in the same spot.
