162 or 153 Track on the 09 M8

Its an 09 sno check that came with 2 years of engine warranty. So it should have a year left on the motor. I am not sure on this so I would have to check for sure. He used to get sleds from the factory to tear them down and and recommend changes to the factory. He also used to mod out sleds for people so I think its set up well.

I also thought that the 09's had a better rail design to eliminate stress points? Its a hard choice because its worth 8500 but 8000 is a good deal!

ive was very impressed with the 153 on mine 09 m8. carries more track speed in the deep that buddies with 162's. cant stop and go as easily as they can but it runs right with them in the deep. very balanced when jumping also

Get your money out man. You will NOT be dissapointed. If you're going to be anywhere near a mountain.....this is the sled to have. IMO.

SPDFREEK

I second this...........get your money out..........you will not be dissapointed. Your tag says Bend Oregon.......plenty of steep and deep around those parts......it's a good deal buddy. Again.........my .02-cents

go big or go home

If you're like me you want to be the best sled there, anyone can jump and drop. highmark your buddies with the 162, why go shorter. You will be the pack leader if you have the longest track. go for the 162

162 - for deep pow!

What would you guys pay for an 09 M8 sno pro 162 with 70 miles? The guy wont go down past 8500. It has an intake, slp skis, and the boss seat. Clutching is dialed.

Also, what will the top speed be. I know you dont want to take a 162 up to 110 but what is realistic on a long flat?

8500 sounds like a great deal! Local guy here selling new std M8's for 8500 with a 162 track. I have an 09' SP M8 162 and love it. I'm 210 lbs, 6' and can sidehill that thing like a champ. It can definitely climb better than my buddies 153 and he has a hard time highmarking my sidehill in the deep stuff - he's only 160 lbs.

i have ridden both and the handleing difference is hardley noticable, but the 162 deffinatly seems to work better in the deep snow, i have a 09 sp tm8 with a 162 and its great, the only downfall i found was, that i dont do much jumping but the little jumping that i have done , i ended up bending up my rails pretty bad , im only 145 pounds and didnt seem to take much to bend em, not sure if this is 162 thing but most my friends ride 153s and none of them have bent yet, maybe i just landed wrong
