Anyone running a 16" track on a 07 M1000?

Any issues to watch for?

If you use a 156" on a 153" skid, will larger wheels take up the slack?

There isnt room in the tunnel to run a 16" wide. The 15" is tight as it is!

I run a 156" Extreme on my 153" skid. I had to do a MM Freedom axle to take up the slack. I also did WPS 9" plastic wheels for kicks.:D

i've seen a 156 installed with stock equiptment. but there adjusted all the way out, still didn't ratchet.

I only know of 1 person that got a 16"er in a m chassis, and it is a custom carbonfibre chassis and was a serious pain in the a$$ to build. not worth the effort!!

how did your buddy get it to fit?

Any pictures? I really would like to try an M series with the 16" wide, best part is, you don't like the 16", you know the 15" will fit at least. I would like to know more what is involved.

If it was just a DD lite and new tunnel it'd almost be worth it, but if it's bulkhead work I think I can do without. Just would be nice to see how the 16" wide changes the M chassis feel and the deep snow mobility on take off.

The cat riders will tell you they are better than a 16 wide and live by them.. Till cat builds a sled that takes a 16, then they are all going to switch to em. Bandwagon is coming guys, prepare too jump on! You guys are too hard on LHF, hes just keepin us entertained..
