I'm looking at getting a new track for my 2011 assault rmk and I've found some cheap brand new 2.6 powerclaws and there available in 153 or 162 I'm wondering if there is anyone who makes a tunnel extension for the pro chassis that looks good and clean and also rail extensions? Besides vanamburg

Skip the rail extensions and get the right length rails from Ice Age. Sell your stockers and recover 75% of your money.

You will need 7 tooth Avid Power Claw drivers for that track (About $240/pair) and an anti-stab kit. Stock drivers will not work... wrong pitch and too big for proper lug-tip/tunnel clearance.

With the 7 tooth drivers, you will need to do the chaincase mod to clear the track, as shown below. Pull chaincase (de-bond) , cut/weld and re-install with adhesive.

Weather it is the 153" or the 162" you will still need to run the Avid drivers on the 2.6 power claw (awesome track BTW)... The 153 will fit your rails with the 7 tooth drivers.

SLP makes the tunnel extension...PN 32-563 .... I'm pretty sure it works on the Pro RMK's as well... Carls installed on a friends sled a couple of years back. CLICK HERE

I highly recommend the Happy face bumper for the 163 to tie everything together.
It is MUCH stronger than the stock bumper and longer side arms... beautiful piece.

Avid makes a nice tunnel extension, so if you buy drivers from them look into that option.

Slp makes rail extensions that don't extend the hyfax if you want to go cheap.

I bought oem 163 rails on the swap meet section from Polaris Pride at a good price and used all my stock wheels . I all so went with a stock track and did the F-bomb trick it works great and I saved tons of cash . When you go longer you need to tighten up your rear spring or go to the Z-bros spring kit . Instead of tunnel extension I tied up my rear flap so it does not get sucked up with the track and everything seems to be working . I have $ 575 in everything with springs from Z-bros . I even painted my rails black and they seem to be holding up, for kicks I painted the hyfax red and they are still holding up except for the bottom edge . With the $$$ I saved I purchased a fuel controller and a used slp pipe .

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003CK4HWC. Mountain horse I really love how you help everybody out on snowest with awesome ideas! But I was digging around and found this bumper/tunnel extension from vanamburg and it's cheap and I like the look of it so i think that will be what I go with unless you have heard bad things about this? But it's vanamburg so it's gotta be good right?? Haha and I've heard that 163 can be more difficult to carve with but I feel like that's hard to believe because this pro chassis is awesome! What are your thoughts about going to 163? thanks!

Too bad you didn't have a timbersled. I'd trade you my 163 bomber rails. I'm wanting 155 rails so I can get a 156x3
