To keep the factory warranty it has to be installed by a authorized yamaha dealer or the warranty is voided. That is for the 180HP Push Turbo and MPI Supercharger
I dont believe this is totally true. You have to buy the kit from yamaha and it must be installed to spec. Any deviation would be inviolation of the warranty. Why would it be different from any other yamaha part?
