144 to 153 rails?

ok i need the mechanical advice here. i have an 09 xtx nitro and i want to make it longer for when i go out west. i am wondering if i can find a skid from a mtx 153 and just slide the skid in. i know mine is a 2.52 pitch so are they the same or not. all the help you guys can give would be great. also are the clutches set up the same?

not too sure i would think it would work however you might have to remount the rear drop brackets to accomidate the suspention. I have the complete rear skid out of an 08 mtx with track and drivers if you find out it will work. pm me if interested
