13' pro upgrade?

Was wondering if anybody out there has any thoughts on getting some more power out of a stock 13" pro 800 without huge bucks? Was thinking about starting with pipes, new can and intake. Any thoughts? Any brands to look at?

Dynoport pipe and y pipe with 13.1 head made a big difference on my 13"
I now have MtnTk fix kit with porting from the Mod Shop. It's similar to Slp stage 4 but with a few more hp. But I now have to run straight av gas @2200' and 50-50 mix av and 91 at altitude.
I use pcv for extra feuling.

I was thinking about adding SLP pipe and can, but not sure if its worth the money, but with the ceramic coating on the pipe it should help keep the temps down a little.

I assume you have already put some money/time into solid clutching for your elevation and maybe a gear down kit? That is all I have done and it walks all over my buddies stage 3 kit and I spent much less.

Slp pipe isn't worth it imo. No noticeable or very little gains. Air box mod a can and clutching is the way to go for best bang for your buck. Best part is no need to mess with a fuel controller. Stock map on my 13 is spot on.:face-icon-small-hap

13 pro upgrades

as sledheadd said. rob is getting huge gains from his port job. i have found that the slp pipe set up never really showed big gains. i feel it dont hold the heat in the pipe enough to make good HP gains. by far best thing to do to a stocker is a 13:1 head. it adds HP and also increases coolent in the head. for the price of the pipe setup i would do a 3" track and avid drivers. you will be geared lower to boot. next would be the mtntek fix kit. it really smooths ou the motor and feels mch stronger. ust mt .02

I did notice some gains with the SLP pipe, I have done a number a number of posts on it

Comparing stock to to just the pipe
stage 1 to stage 2
stage 2 to 3

you have to have clutching dialed in, thats your cheapest power mod
