Cant decide what mods to go with, budget is about $1000 or so

1) RKT cheater head, HPS or GGB silencer, Team tied clutch (approx. $1100 total)

2) PAR Ulitmate Combo (PAR head, SLP exhaust, PC5 EFI control ($1300)

It sounds like both heads are good options, my guess from what I've heard is the RKtek might make a bit more power.

Like everyone I want the best bang for my buck, anyone with advice or experiences with any of these parts?

You are going to ruin your warranty with a head for a few HP? Not worth it...

sorry to beat around the bush here guys but where can a guy buy a hps can for a '13 pro??

I went straight to HPS for my can. Everyone kept saying they were getting them soon. To my door in 2 days.

The head can be easily removed if warranty problems occur. 1 1/2hr max to put on and remove. You not only get HP, but better throttle response and cooling...just sayin

That's great thinking until something lets loose inside your cylinder (like a piston or something) and beats the sh*t out of the head and you go into the dealer for warranty work with the perfect stock head on it........... Then you are paying for the motor for your few more horsepower you had to have. Just sayin'..........

I think RKT head works best with their pistons, or you're leaving HP on the table. But, you couldn't do head (cheater or his cover) and pistons, and the rest for 1100. $800 US for the head/pistons alone. Putting in the RKT kit now myself.

I would spend the money on the clutch. A clutch that is set up correctly will out preform these mods. Hp means nothing if you can't put it to the track. Indy Dans set up or Carls Cycle can help you with this. Open up air Box install power commander and pyros. then tune.

Tell me about this kit, what is it, how much is it, & where is it.
Found a Northstar motorsports but didn't see anything about a kit on it.

Website is northstarsuo.com in Preston, Id 208-852-1888 Ask for Bill ot Kolie.
There is a thread about on here. It's a kit with different pistons taller and thicker that changes port timing that increases hp and dependability.

I'd go PAR Head, HPS, with MDS Clutching, $900 or so and you'll love it, and trim your track!

GGB can, JT vents and have indy dan work over your clutch

you'll still have gas and beer money left
