Just looking for the simple setup here...just primary weights
My last two trips west here will be riding out of Island Park

13 pro rmk stock motor....i ran the 10-60's in cooke few weeks back and a good steep pull at 9800 ft at 8050rpm's ethanol setting on for "break in" still.... light somewhat sugary snow but plenty deep.

Im thinking I'll put the 62's back in for Island Park and run the non-ethanol setting?? Heard the non-eth should pick up 50-75 rpms. Should be same somewhat lighter snow conditions id imagine.

Otherwise if im running low how/where do I grind/file off some weight on the 62's? I'll bring a good scale with me.

Thanks.

I was just there last week and this is what I got out if it

Slp springs, info off Their website if needed is around, not reall necessary but the back shift was nice.

Riding in the trailed areas, east of highway 20,polaris 62s were spot on, when we went to the Jefferson area west of highway 20 they were good until about 8000 feet. Too heavy after that. Wasn't pulling rpm after 8000 feet. Only hitting about 7800

Hmm guess ill stay with 60's then especially you have a stage 2 and I'm stock

Thx!

my stock 2013 I liked 10-62's better, above 8500 I switch to 10-60. 95% of riding there is 6500-8000.

Our group was just out in Island Park for three days of riding. We had two 2013 model year Pro's and two 2012 model year Pro's. The 2012 Pro's ran 62 grams and I think the non broken in 2013's ran 60 grams.... My 2012 was pulling 8200 rpm climbing the back side of Jefferson area with Carl's cycle clutch kit. The other 2012 had stock helix and was around 8300 rpm.. Hope this helps.... Later

Not sure where your staying but there's a gas station at the intersection of Kilgore/A2? and Highway 20 that has non ethanol 91 octane... I think it was a Phillips 66 station.. That way you can switch your octane setting over for more power...:face-icon-small-hap

We had a great trip and found untouched snow mostly everywhere we went... It wasn't pure sugar powder but it was slightly set up snow that loosened up later in the day the warmer it got. There's plenty of tree riding to cover yet, but they will need fresh snow real soon..

Agreed with. Snow was mostly good. South sides of slopes was the nicest. East side hard as rock. North and west were good mixture semi set

I am running 10-60's and a black/purple in the secondary in my 12 pro 800 155, rode Jefferson last year for a week and Togwotee for a month, i thought it ran great!
