13/6 RK Tek Domes ?

Hi all, I have a 2012 pro 800 with a rk tek drop in kit with 12/6 domes. My ? is do I have to have a fuel controller to run rk tek 13/6 domes. I will be riding at 8000 to 10000 ft on pump gas. Thanks

As stated, the controller isn't needed for 12's, just enough altitude or octane. That 13:6 could start to deto under 6k on just pump premium. Which shouldn't be a problem for you if you're swapping heads for a ride at elevation. 12:6's (same as stock) will work at sea level on pump premium. The 13:1's need more octane than pump premium below 3k for any WOT runs. JMPE with that drop in kit on 11/12s.
