Here's the list of mods I have done to the "Shocker" for now.

Hood air-brushed by 4M member Airbrushr
Float2 ski shocks replaced with Raptor clickers
The left-hand controls moved with RSI's Control Relocation Kit (which I believe they just stopped selling)
Rox 4-6" adjustable riser
Fly mini-bend handlebars
A KMOD suspension w/Raptors

Very nice! I'd love to add the K-Mod rear to go with my front Raptors.

I had the 2010 version of the Mtn Tamer w/Float2s, but tired of checking pressures constantly, plus I never did find a good PSI for the rear shock. So I asked Kevin about getting a KMOD with Raptors at Chris' 4th of July party and he PM'd me with a deal I couldn't refuse - so I have a KMOD w/Raptors now. I was going to get some Exits for the Mtn Tamer, but if I can sell the Mtn Tamer, the upgrade to the full KMOD set-up will be less $$$ than I could get the Exit shocks for.

Now if I could only find a good complete Pro 155" chassis to use as a donor, I'll drop the 777 engine, Barkbusters, KMOD, and Peak track in it.

Dude, is that a Assault? Looks like the Assault track to me.

I just love the sled. I really wish I had the money to buy the shocks and suspension for my Assault. The only thing I had money for this year was the custom wrap kit from SCS :(

I live in Norway, and the taxes for parts from US are more than I can pay for.
I didn`t have money for anything else and for the 750 USD for the wrap, isnt 3-4 grand for a complete suspension setup :P

Had to make a deal with my girlfriend since we just bought a house together.
And she dosen`t even like that I have a sled :face-icon-small-con

If my Girl Friend / Wife didn't like me having a Sled (I have Four)

She would be and EX and I would be looking for my new next ex!

how do you like the peak track richracer1?

looks killer btw!

So far, I like it, but I barely have 350 miles on it, so it's not broke in yet. Word has it, the Peak track takes a bit longer to break in and then starts working a lot better. Throws one hell of a roost though.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned anything about the one missing component of the KMOD suspension on my sled.:face-icon-small-sho

What missing part? :O

Oh by the way, the wrap kit I bought... It`s a SCSunlimited full custom wrap with REALLY bright colors, lot`s of details and it`s a full body wrap. Tank, tunnel, hood and so on :) Not a pre production.

I would like to add that with my difficulties in finding the "good" PSI for the Float2 rear shock on the Mtn Tamer, working every weekend, and suffering a very bad sprain in my right wrist early in the season, riding time was minimal. I don't think I got the track fully broken-in and with not getting the sled to handle that well FOR ME, I didn't get to see how the Peak truly performed, good - bad or otherwise.

Also, the Mtn Tamer, even though I had the 2010 version, was a huge uprade from the torsion sprung OEM skid. As it turned out, with CRFred buying the Mtn Tamer from me, I got the used (was a demo unit) complete 2011 version KMOD skid w/Raptors for less than the price of a set of Exit shocks for the 2010 Mtn Tamer. It's also a huge bonus that Kevin (KMOD) is a 20 minute drive away.

Where's the snow, I'm really excited to see how my sled will handle as it'll basically be new again this season with the change from Fox Float2 ski shocks to Raptor clickers and the change to the KMOD with Raptors.
