12 or 13 m1100

in the market for an M 1100 t, its time to replace my 09 dragon and i reallly want a 13 but i have found a smoking deal on a 12 still in the box. the 12 is $2200 less than the 13 , should I save my money and get the 12, it will have all of the updates done or just buy the 13. having a hard time coming to an conclusion on which way to go.

You will spend more than 2200 to get the 12 to 13 standards

Vert steering
38" a arms
Better skid location
Tighter turning
Then hope and pray you don't get a belt blower

Good luck.

Besides, if you think about it, $2,200 is less than the actual depreciation between the 12's and the 13's.

Get the 13'

Not to mention the track if it still has the 2.25 PC.

13 for sure

I have owned both. 12 was a nice trail sled. I just bought a 13, 3 rides, last weekend in 30 inches of fresh. What a hoot you can actually ride it like a mountain sled. Ski stance, track, steering post, you can not believe what an improvment AC did with this sled.

I'm gonna get flammed for this...

but I hate the feel of the vert steering. Maybe if I put my mind to it and had some seat time on a '13 I'd change my mind. I roll my bars up so there's not as much of a sweeping action when I have them turned. I have updated everything else though. Go with the 2013. The 2.25 track is horrible and the narrow front end is a must IMO.

There was a thread on 153 vs 162 4s maybe 4-6 weeks ago. Lots in that topic of you do a search. Comes down to where you ride and who you ride with.

after riding 153" for the past 7 years, and owning my first 162 last year
dont waste your time with a 153

the 162 is superior in more cases than not,

i have owned both in the proclimb chassis and will not be going back

the 162 is awesome....
