12 m8 boost-it setup and afr flatlining

Hey I got. 12 m8 with a ovs stage 2 with boost-it fuel xic. I'm wondering if anyone is using this set up and what map there using In it. I had it out a few weeks back and almost back to the truck the afr went super lean then (---) anyone know why this happened? No codes but also it flashed oct code a few times I'm running 108 and 91 mix 50/50 only new to this and it's a bit of a headache!! Thanks for anyone's input

you are in a tough spot, they pulled out of doing business in the USA when they had a rash of problems.

like others your probably stopped seeing boost or vacum and now its time to go elsewhere

I feel for you, have 1000$ sitting on the shelf that will not power up, no refund no service. sent it back only to have them send it back to me still not functioning.
they hung allot of us out to dry. if you get your hands on NM, give him a hello between the eyes for me.

It sounds like the sensor in your pipe for your AF gauge may have stopped working.
I replace these sensors at least once a season as they don't seem to last very long.
Good luck!

If your AFR shows super lean, and you got a det code...That's 2 things pointing at a fueling or fuel problem. Probably nothing wrong with your AFR gauge. Could be the fuel controller, injector, fuel pump crapping out, fuel filter, or it might just need some tuning. Eliminate the simple things first.

how would you go about checking a injector, and fuel pump? when its idling its even showing super lean and with the boost-it xic fuel controller that don't work until its under boost. for anyone thats wired up one of these suckers i have my oil pump, boost it box and afr gauge all wired into my main harness for the main guage. seems like a lot of juice going the the same place maybe i should hook my new afr into the tail light power?

Subscribed to the thread and I'm ready!
This should be juicy!

I can tell you its the guage not the sensor.Mine did the exact thing and like you i bought a new sensor same thing put a new guage on and bang worked every since.

He didn't realize the sled was an ac sled and had his wiring all messed up.. I did give him a good map and the better way to run the boost it box. After a few trials and struggles and some help from (Never enough snow), we got that boost-it box working flawless..

I bought a used box from a guy around this last Christmas that was not working right, sent it into Neil and he sent another one back that was brand new. All three of my machines using the boost it box run very well. Polarisrocks is a very good source for info on these boxes too.
