Rode the 1100T with the verticle post today. Its a completely different machine. I liked this sled before, but now its just awesome. Its still heavy, but is so much easier to handle. All i hope for next week at the dealer show is the verticle post on all 2013's, 2.5" lug power claw track and 38" stance on all mountain sleds.

I couldnt believe the difference! I have been riding the 1100t all year ( 600 miles or so) and have loved every second. I always knew and have always advised our customers that it was a great sled but not for everyone. The vertical post has narrowed the gap for mountain riders. Madmax is right. Give me a vert post on the big 1100t ,a 2.5 powerclaw , and it will be hard for me to ride anything else.

Headed out west this weekend. . . Vertical Post: Check. 38 Stance: Check. MDS Clutching: Check. Highflow muff: check.

I am to excited about the 13's but I likely will just do the big track and skis on my 12. And maybe some beauty items.

You will do the skis, believe me...........

Once you get back from your trip order up something that is wider..........

Jeff, We were in west this year so I realize how bad they suck. I just don't have the money to buy the skis I want right now. I plan to get some 8 inch slydogs. For now I will just keep into the throttle :light:

Is the vertical steering post available for order somewhere? I want one on my XF and I also want narrower ski stance, but it seems the 38" kit is only available for M-models.

EDIT: Found part # in another thread. Here it is for others that might be looking for it too. 5639-945

vertical steering post

hello this post mine came in today but i am wondering is it worth the 300 bucks i have the standard riser with a 3.5 rox riser which allows me to rotate my bars forward to a more vertical style is there some thing else i am not seeing or does it make the machine ride different and if so explain thanks

Although I am not familiar with the Rox setup, the stock bars, when rotated forward so that the bars are vertical puts the bars through an extremely awkward arc. I thought the sled was virtually unrideable with the bars in this position.

I rode a 1100T yesterday with the Veritcal steering post and all I can say is wow. It made that machine a whole different animal. Made it blast to ride. It's the way they should of come from the factory. This machine also had powder pros and that also seems to be an improvement over the stock skis.

Got my Vertical Kit yesterday, that along with the 38 inch stance will be finding its way to my Turbo sooooon! After coming off an Mseries sled with the vertical steering IMO its a must for this Pro-Climb Turbo

Does the cat vertical post for the 1100 still need to be modified to gain steering swing?
