Found this while servicing a low mileage 1100T. Stock machine with only exhaust. That could ruin your day in a hurry.

The sad thing is the fact that it broke on one side... I would check alignment on the gears,, kind of a caster camber type of alignment check. A little blue ink on clean parts could reveal a hidden issue!!!

there was some wear on one of the gears that got replaced as well. Our demo sled with 1000+ hard miles with 275hp big chute turbo, the chain still looks perfect.

HCR 10, that could be yours.

Since everyone with 12's will get into the shop and have the reverse update done, it'll be interesting to see how many of these we get.

My chain looked perfect. I have always changed my chain every year with my yamahas and doing the same with my cat. Thats alot of power to go threw a small chain.

As of this week d&d still didn't have the M gears for their Hyvo kit. 2 weeks ago I inquired about a hardened upper gear and a better than stock chain, they said they could do that. Haven't had an update on that yet. Almost 2 weeks ago STM said they would have their Hyvo (no reverse) M kit done in a couple weeks. Should be soon but until anyone has them on the shelf you'll get the "in 2 weeks" deal.

m1100 chain

where are you guys getting the micro belmont chains? I ordered one of the "heavy duty" chains for my 1100 turbo from bikeman performance and it was a micro belmont but its only 13 wide and the stock is 15 so thats not going to work I don't think. thanks for any info

I still haven't heard any company that has the 49 gear for M series in the Hyvo set up. Can't believe that. They are all F kits.

I think you'll find the upgraded Micro Belmont or Bikeman chain will be sufficient. The stock gears are weak and may cause you problems on a high HP sled that hooks up hard.

I had a vibration like a driver ratchet. Turns out I had several random broken chain links a broken tooth that also punched a hole into oil tank! awesom right. In the end it was still rideable, just under heavy load would vibrate End total is 2 chains 4 gears outer chain Case housing and oil tank And tensioner. Under warranty thank god

- Wow- and just in time for X-mas right!!

My chain case went kaboom last week. Haven't had it apart yet but I know the chain isn't broken. Reverse still works fine and when put it gear it moves a bit and then begins to grind. Assuming some of the chain links let go and I've got a tooth or two missing like mentioned above. I however am not on warranty so this oughta be expensive. Anybody done the bmp reverse delete? I could live without reverse as long as the drivetrain was solid. Sled might be making a long trip to whiteknuckle to visit justboostit. What do you guys think? Reverse delete or not?

I put the 800 jack shaft in with13w chain and gears. Holding up so far, and alot less rotating wait. Also put the brake rotor on off of the rr.
