1100T belt issues

How many guys think they had belt issues with the 1100 turbo? If you post be sure to post whether you were turned up and what clutching you were using. I am interested to know if the 1100 turbo engine flexing is a big issue. I didn't find it to be to bad though I only got 400 mile on in the mountains last year.

Got about 400+ miles in Michigan and then about 400 mountain miles.. Two belts no problems both look shiny on the sides but are in good shape. Clutching half season in michigan on stock and out west with mds primary kit black polaris spring. Could nail the shiite outta the rev limiter with mds though.

I rode myh first 200 in the mountains with stock clutchin then switched to MDS with polairs black. COuld nail the rev limiter when getting into the throttle on the track with less load. In the powdeer it was perfect. I did have a belt with apulled thread that I cut off and burned back in.

I am just wondering if there is any need for an engine snubber?

500 miles all mountain, 7 belts. Stock clutching and motor for 100 miles( 2 belts). Td reflash and full exhaust bike man clutch kit, 120 miles (3 belts). Next every vent made for the turbo sled and mds weights and different helix. 2 trips too the dealer too look for issue none found. Mds weights cooled primary off but secondary still hot as hell. Last 280 miles (2 belts) and the 8 on the seld has a pulled cord. 5 of the belt blew the hell up into peaces the rest 4 to 5 cords pulled about 8 or 10 inch long.

How did the TD reflash run in the mountains?

It works awesome fresh tracks in 5" of fluffy snow about 60 to 62 mile track speed. Wet snow when u only sink about 1' I'm getting 72 to 76 track speed. Almost to fast to hold on. And can u 91 fuel and one gallon of ave gas. Or 94.

I'm on 7th belt.

I think mine ate belts as bad as a 800. I have around 1500 miles and my best belt was 400 mile or so. Worst was 150 ish. Most went 200 to 300 miles. I caught most belts at the pulled cord stage. I completely grenaded a belt and destroyed my clutch guard. I think all mine were from excessive heat. There is no way for the heat to get out. I was fortunate enough to ride in some deep awesome snow. My sled was stock up until the 1250 mile mark then I got some venting and a MDS clutch kit. Clutch heat is much lower but I didn't get a chance to ride in deep heavy snow.

I got approx. 250 miles out of each of my belts last season. Rode almost exactly 500 miles and my second belt blew on the last ride of the year. TD HF exhaust kit. 38 degree straight helix helped a little. Stock weights and turqouse/black Dalton primary spring.

Over 800 miles on original belt, last 175 miles with BC race kit on it in heavy spring snow. Wht/gold primary, 38/46 and Cat orange since 300 miles. Hoping the new demo is that good....

5 belts

I put on 700 mountain miles cutler adjustable weights 38 46 helix fully vented 174 3 in amo extreme with bd box set at 21 pounds heat was definitely my enemy Never have i ever seen clutches get so hot

475 miles all mountain riding on my origianl belt.

The belt still looks brand new
