:beer;:beer;unlike last weeks short and sweet report i'll make this long and dreadful.. :):beer;:beer;

well, WTF! sometimes ya just gotta blow out the spot.. and here i am, blowing it out... i mean, why not? right.. not like its a big secret round these parts..

So, we headed to Gallagher on friday for some 'work the turkey fat off" riding.

We drove over the pass with mist and the so often present snowfoggy fog and kept on trucking on out to La Sac, on the approach it was clear the sky, well, she was clear with a 4500ft or so snowline.. pulled up geared up and started our ride about 8:45.. the road in was brutally hard and crunchy for the 1st 12 miles or so until we got up past the snow line a bit, lots of 4x4 ruts for the 1st few miles too... once we hit the single track trail in it started to soften and started looking real nice for november 27th. the trail had lots of small creek crossing but nothing of consequence crossing. once we came out of the trees at the base of the climb a good 6 to 8 inches new on top of a soft base greeted us, hmmm.. what a pleasent surprise!! oh did i mention it was sunny to boot? commence destruction! up up, another teer up and there we were..

report: still need a lot more snow, but there IS plenty to play.. once we get the "ALOT MORE SNOW" things will flatten out and not be to technical picking you way through the way up.. easy nuff tho ;)

ok on with a couple snapshots...

down at the mid-basin of Gallagher. i had instant memories of my 1st time there ripping those shoots on our boards a few years back.. u dont want to here that story tho :face-icon-small-hap

Hiding beer in a fake gas can...and we wonder why people have such an issue with sledders. We really need to save the drinking till we get back home.

It gives us ALL a bad rap and the sport as whole.

In my exercise of free speech, this makes me wonder if a 12-step program is in needed when someone goes to this length to have a drink.

Yes and wasting precious fuel and adding extra weight to the sled transporting that sh@#%$tty beer up the mountain.

some of you monkeys on here are such over opinionated people.. if i wanted your opinion i would have asked.. simple.. don't get all political when i'm just trying to show you some good snow conditions and a good time.. its about sharing, not about thinking your so f'n right with your f'n opinion.. way to ruin a thread monkeys// seriously.. a-holes

the gas can beer holder..
NO, we do not "hide" beer in there.. we keep beer in there so we don't have to carry it in our packs.. easy nuff.. also, there are responsible people and not.. we came back to the truck with 1 beer missing from that "fake gas can" seriously.. also i hardly think 8 12oz beers is going to get 3 200lb men wasted.. again.. monkeys.. shut it..

now if you don't pack your sh*t out.. well thats f'd up..

keep up the good work bomb!!!

you guys sure enjoy life... too bad others are too worried about this and that to have a good time.

weeehaa.

hope to fish or ride with ya soon..got a steellhead on the sky today and a couple of chums along with a 3- lb dolly on friday.

I kinda like the gas/beer can...........

It seem only logical, because all of the racks for sleds seem to fit a gas can. Why not make a devise the same as a gas can so they are interchangable? Take the one you need! Cool, idea guys! I think people should take care of themselves, unless it affects others. I hardly think a couple of beers throughout the day hurts anyone. -00's
