I hate to do this, but I am curius how bad these engine issues are on a percentage basis. This poll is only concerning major engine failure (pistons, cylinder, crank, etc.) and not electrical/injector/sensor issues. I know some failures I have heard start with something such as a piston or cylinder skirt, and then get in the crank, but only concerned with the root problem.

2-2011 pro 163's 1 with 1500 miles 1 with 975 no problems at all mine has 1500 miles 1200 on 1 belt all stock except a can my daughters is all stock .

We have three Pros.

Poll only let me vote for one.

Here is the tally:
2011 2500+ miles no major failures
2011 1500 miles no major failures
2012 600 miles (no snow) no major failures.

'11 : engine down @ ~1400 mi
mag rod bearing toasted.
mag cylinder skirt was on its way.

so mine was sorta crank & cylinder skirt?
voted crank failure...
sorta need multiple choice. :P

4 here with no problems.

I could only vote once.

2011 Pro RMK 900 miles = no problems
2011 RMK Assault 500 miles = no problems
2012 Pro RMK 300 miles = no problems
2012 Pro RMK 250 miles = no problems

Looks to be a better percentage of sleds without problems than the threads on here would lead you to believe.

But wait........

My 2012 with 600 miles had the oil line fitting literally just fall out of the pump, leaving the entire motor with no oil for probably 10 miles before we saw it leaving an oil trail. Dropped it off at the dealer over a week and a half ago and no idea when it will be fixed.

My 2011 has over 1,700 miles with no major issues, it did need a new TPS last month.

2012 RMK ASSAULT

600 miles no issues sled is great so far. I hear alot of things but dont have enough miles to find out for my self.

2011 Pro 155: 1400 miles, 2 sets of injectors and TPS, no engine issues
2011 Pro 155: 900 miles, EV base gasket, spark plug wire, no engine issues
2012 Pro 155: 500 miles, running boards fell off - replaced with airframes, no engine issues, runs "proper"

2012 PRO 800 155. 700 miles. only problem, is I had to put some grease in the TPS connector. No other issues.

As I have said in some other posts, the problems are over blown here, and most PRO's on the snow are going strong.

Love the sled!!
