1000 TURBO RT

Ive looked at the charts and i used to think the same way. That everyone was running way to large of turbos.... But My 800 poo has a 2871 on it which is big for an 800 and the 9 has a 3071 and i wouldnt go smaller on either of them. I think The reasoning behind this is 2 strokes just flow so much more air than 4s.
Great work though and it sounds like its working great(talked to cris) so just stick with what you like. Sled looks good

I would like to try a 3071 but I already spent my money for the year, 55 gal of race gas is my last purchase this year.

The 66 is closer to the 2871 then the 3071, we did a bunch of dyno work on a 1240 with a 66 and could have used more, If the a/r's are correct I believe that for most guys the 2871 will deliver more then enough on a 1000.

Ive been testing a gt15, and its making crazy hp. It builds boost before the sled is even started.

You better try one out Josh

We are using a Aerocharger 64/150 from the rzr kit!! The boost gauge is showing 5psi before you even take the gauge out of the box!!

No Arby's for me

I don't know if you guy's are noticing this but, I see two different turbo kit builders working together to give you a better system now were getting somewhere!!

Ha, no those two guys need all the help they can get. Heads up to the city of Bozeman they use street sings for motor mounts.lol

you dont like my 7000 series aluminum motor mounts?? there very technical. very rigid, holds up a lot better then other types of aluminum for attaching bolts etc to it.

and i dont think we need to much help... got a lot of miles on this year. and no backups for sleds.

and i think i figured my lag issues, i need a better boost gauge. and a rock band.

Yeah don't let them bother you, you and I are the only guys that have thought out side the box with the RT chassis.
To bad your so far away it would be interesting to compare your 1000 Yamaha against my 1200 turbo doo.

Do you know what kind of rock band would work in my pros?

The yamadoo was ripping last time I rode with it, and that was a few months ago. I am sure its quite impressive now.

And the poodoo is nuts good work Josh.

All you guys have done some amazing things to your snowmobiles, good work.

Justin

No Back Up!

I never did have a back up sled while building my Turbo REV. At times I wish I did though. I just need to have Supreme Tool build me some piston driven exhaust/power valves, and I think I'll have a reliable machine running 10 lbs of boost. My next project is to put a Turbo 1200 E-tec into a 05 REV chassis.

The 1200 is crazy on boost good luck sounds like a fun project. Let me know how the exhaust valves work curious on how they will work we need a fix for that so give us some feed back. O and the 1200 not a e-tec but we got the point.

looks nice.. love the DP on the thing, looks clean. hopefully you can get a few miles on in this winter!!

and we gotta figure you out some little half panels so you can ride it in more then the summer!
