10" Riser, Have a left over wire....

Ok so, put a 10" riser on the 08 xp, I have one left over wire that I did not notice when I took it all apart. I cannot figure out what it is for. It has what I believe is a sensor on the end of it...does any one no where I can find a microfish for the handle bars/wiring harness to see where this goes...

sort of a different question, but can i use the wiring on my 8 inch risors if i decide on 10 inch ones?

Yes it all fits, just did it tonight...brake cable is a bit tight but no issues....any idea where that wire goes? Can you check your xp for me?

It's your brake light switch . . . snaps in behind and underneath your brake lever.

that is what it looks like. Next time for ease of doing the riser install, remove the dash pod and just disconnect the two plugs to remove and install the riser!
