why are some changing out their 09 tracks

Heard that some were going to the Polaris series V, harder durometer rubber. Some feel that these work better in set up or spring type snow conditions without any bad effects in dry powder.

Yes why would you go to 15"? Speaking of which, has anyone changed out their track on the new Rmk's to a 16"? Does it fit? And why haven't Polaris and Arctic Cat gone to 16" width yet?
