So the wye pipe, pipe and can got you to 165-170hp. Has anyone got that setup on a dyno yet or is that just SLP marketing? I've been following your threads on that setup but haven't seen any info yet.

My riding buddy added a Dynoport Pipe and Y pipe. This added nothing to the sleds performance (other than making it sound faster)! We ride together and trade sleds all the time.

Adding a better head did make a noticeable improvement over stock. We ride from 4000' to 9000'.

150hp + 10hp = 160hp

that is with the full exhaust system and the head.

I put the full exhaust on and rode last weekend. Can't really tell if their is a performance difference. Felt like their was a little, but who knows. No hills to do any high marking on. I wan't to really run it against one without a full exhaust before I put the slp head on. Then see how it does with the full exhaust and head against a stock sled.

But just think how much lighter it will be if he leaves the hood off, and I'm sure he will just because that ceramic shine looks so sweet that he'll want to show it off while riding. Seriously looks great!

I agree I looked at pipes for mine and then came to my senses. Buying a pipe for a Ski-Doo has proven to be useless...No one can seem to make anything work better than the stocker.

The post I replied to said 10-18hp more. The 800R has been dynoed at 152-154 sooooooo.. 152+18= 170hp. This engine already has a strong pull, if it is hitting 10-18hp more than stock you would definately feel it.
