09 XP 154 or 163???? Which length is better?

With the deals out there it;\'s time to get into an new chassis. I know, lots of opinions, but it seems to me that the 153 may be the best choice for MOST conditions. Anybody have any experience?

I have both,154 seems a little shorter but I can put the 163 anywhere the 154 sneaks through and the 163 is a beast. The 163 climbs better and seems more in control when climbing.The 09s,especially in the 163 lay over easier than the 08s.I hated the 08 163x I rode last year but the 09s are gravy!

Same chassis, same setup I don't understand why the 09 would be different??

I have a 154 and it's amazing in the deep snow....rode a couple times this year in 5 feet of fluff and the 154 flat gets around, the 163 would do even better.

the 154 is going to have more track speed and have more "fun" factor but will not be float as good as the 163 in the deep fluff...but really how many times a year do you get that?

we have a 154 and a 163 2009--both great sleds--i like the 154 because its easier to throw around and VE likes the 163 because it climbs like a goat--if we had deeep powder all the time i would get the 163 also but we get 2 to 4 times a year with bottomless snow so i still prefer the 154----i'm also 56 and VE is 36 so age has a little to doo with it to---both great sleds---i wish doo had left the 159 on--best all around track length ever built imo--but you know what happens, they always screw it up and change stuff

no comparison with the 163 to tell you the truth hell of a difference in climbing and over all deep powder riding.

Def the 163". Big diff in the deep. In the fairly setup snow you won't be able to tell a difference. If you're a good rider you can throw the 163" around just as easy as the 154".
