09/xp 146 Boondock help

Looking to make some low cost upgrades to improve boondocking till I can add major up grades. Any suggestions or advice will help. Sway bar quick disconnects and strap adjuster just a few ideas. Heard track tension had to be adjusted everytime strap length was changed. Is this true? Thanks:face-icon-small-con

You looking just for suspension ideas or engine/clutching info? Limiter strap does effect track tension, whether or not it is enough to need adjusting depends how much you move it and how it was adjusted before. Limiter strap, front hole mounting, front shock spring etc, can all effect how weight is transferred and there is no one right answer. Really depends on what you want the sled to do. What you looking for it to do?

depends how much you weigh.. im 150 and 6"2 so i ride with everything as loose as possible except the rear tortion spring take off the sway bar for sure

#1 Take off the sway bar connections.
once you get used to that try #2
#2 Let the limiter strap out 1 more hole, then try softening the front shocks to your taste. It makes the sled a little loose in the front but you can put it on its side in a heartbeat and makes sidehilling easier.
