09 rmk 700 chaincase oil change

Okay, I changed the oil for the first time myself today. I drained, let sit for 30 min, then filled with 325ml as per owners manual. the fluid level in the window is definately over half.... i haven't driven it yet and was wondering if i should drain again and just fill till the window is half full...?
