i got 250 miles on my 09 nytro and have had 2 belts start to thread. Both belts have started to thread on the inside only. Any help would be great.

how do you tighten your secondary?
I think he meant too wind the spring tighter. Remove at least 1 shim from the jackshaft on the inside of the secondary, and put some fresh grease on the splined area of the jackshaft.

how do you tighten your secondary?

Take your secondary off, and then take the helix off. your spring should be on 1 and 6 for the stock setting.
1 is the hole on the secondary. the holes go 1, 3, 2. clockwise on your clutch.
On your helix, if you look on top of it were the spring goes you will see numbers there. 0, 3, 6, 9, Stock is in #6.
So I would suggest to try 1 in the clutch and 9 in the helix to start, if you stay with the stock spring. If you still have some slipage or notice that your belts still have the glazed look then try the EPI purple and set it on 3 and 3.
This will also effect your RPM's so leave what you have in your primary for now.
You will be able to start there. Then if you still have some RPM issues adjust your primary to get the RPM's around 8800-8900
cheers dc
