09 M8 compression

I just checked my compression last night for the hell of it. PTO was 125 MAG was about 122. Does this seem good? I always thought that 120 was a good running motor but i was kinda thinking that it would be higher than that. And i dont know if it matters or not but there was no pipe on the sled, just the y-pipe.

Sled has 38hrs on it.
Im at 1000'

Mine was 124 and 118, but I am at almost 4000ft. I would think yours would be around 140 or so

Checked mine this weekend 142, 144 at 1300ft.

Run the sled for a while and check it again. If it starts to fall away then I would look into it further.

does not having a pipe affect the compression at all? or is that only when its running? ive heard mixed fellings about this.

Also my plugs looked terrible, like they almost had a carbon buildup on them. Im not sure what caused that. I was guessing the oil pump sticking maybe?
