Help, I really hate digital displays........does the speedometer (I've seen) plug right in?

Did all 09 dragons have the digital? And if so, where are the speedometer from?

Thanks,

Joe

You can put a analog/digital gauge from an '06 900RMK on your sled. It's a plug-n-play switch. You then have the choice of using the analog as a tach or speedo. Look on ebay or you can buy a new one from you dealer or online. I have one of the above on my 09 700.

Here's a link to the thread that gave me the idea to this:

Does the LCD part of that display support all the functions like outside temperature and altitude that were optional extras on later sleds?

Is the 06 900 rmk the only one that is an exact exchange for my 09 dragon? I've noticed blue lights and red? I prefer the blue....is there a difference in the year or sled that determines what color the spedometers lights are?

Anyone have a picture of the back side for reference?

U can change the backlight from blue to red or visa versa by holding the selector switch up for about 5 seconds.

The dual function 'deluxe' gauge was stock on the 05 & 06 900s and was also used in many different sleds over the last 6 years. The reason your 09 has the 'basic' gauge was a cost-saving measure to keep the price down a bit (apparently needles and number stickers are big bucks). The deluxe gauge also comes with a clock and has the same ability to be up-fitted with the altitude and air-temp plug-ins that the basic gauge can be fitted with.

The part # is 2410375

It will run you about $250 for the gauge if I remember correctly and is a DIRECT plug and play replacement!
