09 doo's

WFO, There isn't any reason that a 1000 can't run good anymore. The 05 and 06 programming was totally messed up but the 07 is great now. I still think this motor has a lot more. Hopefully they bring it back even better. Now, if they could just install a decent fuel pump?

My prediction is they will get the 800 running right, clutching on and dial in the rest of the sled if it needs it. I think clutching is their biggest issue at this point and I hope they can dial it in. I am willing to work my clutches over to get it right, but need some guidance.

I'm having too much fun on my XP 800 to even think they could do something better or 09'.
A new 600 motor is in the works for sure. Refine the 800 XP, and something XP and 1000ish.

diamonddave, the '07 program works better but the motor is still too heavy.

They will probably wait a few years for everyone else to catch up in the weight department, then change it up again.

Anyone else think that might come out with a 900 to get more power but avoid the weight of a thousand. Maybee an 800 case with a little more stroke and bore??? Just a thought, being they are so with the weight issue i douldnt think that they would want to throw a 1000 in the xp.

Did any of you recieve the BRP marketing survey. Their were a number af question on it of my knowledge of e-tek. What is it anyway? I have heard of it but not exactly sure what it is.

Take the 800R. make it a 900, inject it, add a thermostat and airflow meter (duh) so the ECM can adjust fuel mixture instead of predetermined values set by an engineer in a 72 degree room.
Fix the crank, bearing and clutch issue.

Watch out
Oh wait, this is BRP
