09 d8 Front bumper/belly pan

What would be a good bumper and belly pan protection combination for the 09 D8's. Looking to change to something that would protect the front end better, (just incase the traction trees get a little bigger than I want).

Cheers, Noturn

FTX Motorsports/CoBe Bumper

This would be one of your best choices from FTXmotorsports. You can mow small trees no problem.

X2 on the CoBe
I have the bumper and carbon fiber skid plate on mine, it's great.....damn near indestructible.
I put the skid plate on first, then attached the metal plate that came with the bumper over the top of it on the front, a little added reinforcement. The turn where the skid plate transitions from the front to the belly pan section gets soft after a few rides, I guess from the flexing and hitting misc objects. Using the stock plate (shown in pic) really helped.

Check out Skinz products, their float plate and bumper is rock solid. I have both on my 08 Dragon and can mow down stuff I could not when it was stock.

Anybody sell a good aftermarket bumper in Canada, or where should I get one ordered from. Like the concept of the Cobe bumper but is there any other setups on the market as well?
Thanks

careful on the skinz float plated for the 09-10 dragons, they fit crappy and you have to modify them. the other ones seem ok but these do not fit at all. for the price of them they should fit like a glove

Skinz did modify their mold for the Polaris float plates. They fit perfectly. I installed one on mine not too long ago and it fits like a glove. They do have a bumper and float plate for the 07-08 and for the 09-10.

Ordered a CoBe from Ftxmotorsports, just waiting for it to show up and put it on. Hopefully it'll help out with more support for the front end and makes it a little stonger. :face-icon-small-win

Skinz gets my vote

I have the Skinz bumber on both my D7 and D8 after breaking the original plastic ones. The Skinz bumber works great. They attach directly to the front bulkhead and lower front A-arm mounting points. I ordered them from Edmonton AB (Great White North Ah!!) so ordering and delivery to Canada is no problem.
