I ran 10-62's with the stock spring and slp single, 8200 all week in cooke, Bro ran 68 mtx's with the one gram outer hole (slp recommended) and couldn't get over 7900....... but all 800's are different IMO....
I have an SLP single and last year in Cooke I ran Carls helix and Rons 63.5 gram weights and the sled ran great. Started with 62 gram bellybusters and they were to light. I am in Cooke right now and started the first day trying different combinations of weghts..10/62/, 10/64 and 62 gram belly busters. Used a less aggressive helix and red spring in the secondary. Sled just did not seem to run well. 7800 to 8000 rpms. Went back to Rons 63.5 gram weights with SLP green/pink in the primary and put my Team Tied helix back on with the more aggressive helix and the sled pulls like a freight train. I ride with 8 other Ski Doos and none of then can beat me in a race on the hill or on the trail. Sled pulls so good from a dead stop. Torque is awesome. Has been a great week. Also running a 2.5 Challanger Extreme track and 19/42 gears. They also help.
I am running the 73/57/.46 and 73/59/.46 helix from SLP. Using the 59 cut right now. Also using the stock helix (black/purple I think). You can get ahold of Ron by pming him on snowest. Make sure you use a capitol R.
