Nope.....
First set your desired boost with + hp = #. If @ low elevation, set at "0" for minimum boost and avoid engine damage. Then set the "alt comp" to a # that achieves your desired boost as you gain elevation. This adjustment in boost is automatic as you gain elev. The higher this number, the quicker EBC adjusts boost as you gain elev. Vise versa if you are at top of mountain, you will set + hp to the desired boost you want for playing, climbing etc.. Then set your alt comp to number that achieves desired boost reduction as you descend in elevation to protect your motor from overboost/ detination. It is sort of a trial and error thing, but once you get it firgured out, it works well and can adjust boost on the fly on the mountain is seconds.
