After updates its worst. less than 100 miles both pistons are scored up, major fuel flooding and wont start. under air box is a gap about 1/4'' apart not normal. Top two injector there moveable even the bolt is tight can wiggle them, that dont seem right at all. Injectors are suppose to be tight huh. need some answers, bad investment year.

ya it does suck when the heck is poo going to fix the bugs out of these sleds. probably not,not going to get hyped up about the pro ride 800. They do there tests on there on private land not the public parks. So the dont care about epa on the land they use for product testing. just like ppl got hyped about the 09's 800 all of them and most ran like crap

mine runs great, sounds like a dealer issue, see if they replace the intake gasket and if there is stuff loose then its not polaris its your dealer

I feel your pain. Shortly after I bought my sled (08 Dragon) the Polaris engineers installed their latest flash at a demo ride here in Truckee. The sled went down early on my very next ride. Thanks guys! Luckily warranty took care of the damage. Hope your covered man! Also I'd consider getting a PCV once you get those other issues taken care of. I put one on my sled and finally It runs how its supposed to - only took me three seasons to get it right! LOL

I dont think it's a dealer issue they been very help for me.. gotta take some pic's for him. and Should be able to replace the parts for me. got to take the head off and send it in.

Cause we all know poo makes pos 800's... i bet 95 % of 09 broke down. They make some what good 600's.. Should just go back to doo, if they can fix the plastic starter recoil, Just bought a pc v and was hoping to run it but it couldnt wait for that fix. what a waste of money. Marvin plz help it is for sale u know where i live,mmm i accept paypal.

i fill your pain i have a 09 assault and just lost the 5th motor they cant give me a reason wy now ther telling me they wont warranty it because i took the cone off the hood that go is the air box

Thats why i keep mine stock easy for repairs. you should try check your airbox to see if theres a gap under there, and c if your top two injectors are wiggle let me know thanks. wow fifth motor, imo i think that the first motor was better for me poo just need to focus on lean midrange not the entire mapping.

No the air box is tight and the injectors to i have only got 150 to 200 miles out off the motors my sled is stock the only thing i did is take the cone off the hood polaris cant seem to give me a reason wy this is happening because i had the cone in the last 4 motors and just took it out and now they wont warranty it but thats what there blaming it on now

I think that they consider it a mod i guess, thats why there not warranty it i would keep trying to get it warranty on it. The gap is on bottom of the airbox, there is a post about it.

Cant wait to unlease the power of my assault, I'm sure the curse of polaris 800 will be solved and run right good out of the box.
