09 700 no reverse

after eng repair reverse and throtle safty are inop wires all look ok ,tryed switch off of another sled still inop any ideas ??

for reverse, i would suggest re-setting the TPS.

how are you testing the throttle safety switches?

What makes you think the safety switch is a problem?

I know you said the wires are fine but I would check the entire path of the wiring.

I doubt it is the TPS, if it is not working at all. TPS is a problem with the switch tries to engage reverse but it dies. If it is doing nothing, the switch is likely the problem. I suppose it could be the ECM, but I would think there would be other issues as well. Not very likely that one aspect of the ECM failed alone.

TPS settings are much more common then an ECM. it will also not go into reverse if your engine RPM is too high, or too low...i would confirm the setting/wiring is perfect before you dump $ on an ECM..
